Scugog Fire and Emergency Services Community Survey

Scugog – Our Scugog Fire and Emergency Services team, made up of dedicated full-time and paid-on-call staff, strive to offer quick and effective emergency response services to our community. To make sure these services are as good as they can be, the Scugog Fire team is preparing a 10-year Fire Master Plan that will guide operations and highlight possible enhancements to these services.

To accomplish this, the Township of Scugog has engaged the Emergency Management Group (EMG) Inc., Barrie, ON., to assist with this initiative. EMG is a consulting firm that has worked with many fire services to develop their fire master plans, station assessments, community risk assessments, and fire service reviews.

Your input will help shape this vision and ensure that we are serving you as best we can! To gather feedback, we have created a community survey where you can offer your thoughts on how the Scugog Fire team is doing when it comes to emergency response. This includes what we are doing well, what we should improve on, and new ideas on how we can further enhance our emergency response. This survey is open until June 22, 2025, and all responses will be considered when developing the Fire Master Plan. Please note, all responses to this survey will remain confidential.
