Scugog Shores Museum Village
The Scugog Shores Museum Village is located at 16210 Island Road, and is open from May to September every year.
We are now closed for general admission for the 2024 season. Please view our education programs and special events to visit us in our off-season. Museum office hours are Monday to Wednesday and Friday, 9am - 4pm. We will open for general admission on May 21, 2025!

The Village shows what daily life was like in Scugog from the mid to late 1800s. We preserve, research, interpret and exhibit artifacts related to the cultural and natural history of the Township of Scugog area. The Village includes:
- 11 restored buildings
- Heritage flower, herb and vegetable gardens
- Ojibway Heritage Interpretive Lands
Guided tours are available Wednesday to Sunday during open season (May - September) from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. with the cost of admission.
The Scugog Shores Museum Village and Archives is pleased to be the summer home of Theatre on the Ridge! Take in a show under the beautiful show tent on the Museum grounds. Museum visitors will receive a voucher for a $5 discount on Theatre on the Ridge tickets.

Admission
The Scugog Shores Museum Village accepts cash and credit for admissions and gift shop purchases.
Admission Rates:
- Adults: $5.25
- Students: $4.25
- Seniors: $4.25
- Children (5-12 years): $2
- Children (4 and under): Free
