Kennel Licences

Kennel owners in the Township of Scugog must follow our Zoning By-law and Kennel By-law. You must complete a Kennel Application Form and include: 

• A site plan of your property, drawn to scale
• Licensing fee

The annual licensing fee is $250 for new or lapsed licences and $160 for renewals.

Boarding kennels can board up to 40 dogs and also include a doggy daycare and doggy spa. 

Breeding kennels are used for breeding dogs of similar type and use. 

Private kennels can't have more than eight dogs and must all belong to the kennel owner.
