Film Notice – September 10, 2024

NE Way Home Productions Inc. will be returning to film in Scugog Tuesday, September 10, 2024. Please see below the filming notification from the production company:

We will be filming INTERIOR and/or EXTERIOR scenes at 139 Queen St, & Palmer Park Dock, Port Perry:

• Prep: Monday September 9 – 7 AM - 7 PM
• Filming: Tuesday September 10 – 6 AM - 11 PM
• Wrap: Wednesday September 11 – 7 AM - 7 PM

Our production vehicles and various pieces of film equipment will be located on:

• East side of Water St between North St and Mary St (based on construction footprint)
• North side of Queen St near Water St
• South side of Queen St near Water St
• Scugog Lot 5* - 204 Water St, Port Perry, ON L9L 1B8
• Latcham Centre - 121 Queen St, Port Perry, ON L9L 1B8
  ONLY WHEN REQUIRED

*Scugog Lot 5 will see a number of spaces blocked off for crew and set vehicles, however, the remaining spaces will be open to the public.

We will begin reserving the above areas with cones on Sept 9 at 7AM, with vehicles arriving Sept 9 around 9 PM, and departing Sept 9 by 11 PM.

During filming we may have intermittent traffic stoppages on:

• Water St between North St and Mary St
• Queen St between Water St and Perry St

Our scenes involve filming down by Palmer Park, and include filming in & around our cafe located on the intersection of Water St & Queen St.

We look forward to returning to Port Perry for another visit.

Please keep these logistics in mind when in the area and respect the area of filming when crews are on-site.
