Free Skate with the Grinch Sunday, December 15, 2024

Scugog – The Community Services department is happy to bring back the popular Skate with the Grinch event this winter.

Join the Grinch on Sunday, December 15, at the Scugog and Blackstock Arenas for an unforgettable afternoon of skating, laughter, and holiday cheer. Whether you are a seasoned skater or its your first time on the ice, the Grinch himself will be there to share in the fun, pose for photos and spread some holiday mischief.

Event Highlights:

• Free skating for all attendees
• Meet and skate with the Grinch
• Holiday-themed music

Skate Times and Locations:

• Scugog Arena: Sunday, December 15, 2024, from 12:30 to 1:50 p.m.
• Blackstock Arena: Sunday, December 15, 2024, from 2:00 to 3:50 p.m.

Public skate is an open skate for all ages. Helmets are required for children aged 6 years and younger but recommended for all ages. Adult supervision is required for children aged 7 years and under. Each skate does have a maximum capacity. Staff will allow admission until capacity is reached.

Don’t miss out on the chance to skate alongside the Grinch. Bring your friends and family, wear your favourite holiday attire and get ready for a festive afternoon.
