Notice of Public Open House Concerning a Proposed Official Plan Amendment & Zoning By-law Amendment for Additional Dwelling Units

Take Notice that pursuant to Sections 17, 22 and 34 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, the Township of Scugog will hold a Public Open House to consider proposed amendments to the Township of Scugog’s Official Plan and Zoning By-law No. 14-14, as amended.  

Details of the Official Plan and Zoning By-law Amendments 

The proposed Official Plan Amendment and Zoning By-law Amendment applies to all lands in the Township of Scugog.  On this basis, no location map has been provided with this Notice.  The proposed amendments to the Township Official Plan and Zoning By-law are in regard to implementation of the Planning Act and Provincial Plans and Regional Official Plan policies.  

Additional information and material about the proposed Official Plan and Zoning By-law Amendments are available for inspection at the Township of Scugog offices, 8:30 - 4:30, Monday to Friday or via the Township’s “My Scugog, Our Community” webpage at https://my.scugog.ca/additional-dwelling-units-study.
