Notice of Special Council Meeting on Monday, March 17, 2025

Please take notice that the Corporation of the Township of Scugog will hold a Special Council meeting on Monday, March 17, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. pursuant to Section 240 of the Municipal Act, 2001. The meeting will take place in Council Chambers located at 181 Perry Street, Port Perry, with a portion of the meeting will be held in closed session. The closed session portion will not be open to the public.

The closed portion of the meeting will be handled in closed session pursuant to Section 239(2)(c) a proposed or pending acquisition or disposition of land by the municipality or local board, in regards to Cartwright High School and Union Avenue Site Land Exchange.

The agenda will be published and available for the public to view as of Thursday, March 13, 2025 at 8:30 a.m.

The public wishing to delegate on the matter will have the opportunity to submit delegation requests for the Special Council meeting. Received delegation requests will be included in an addendum to be issued on Friday March 14, 2025. 
Requests must be submitted no later than 12:00 p.m. on Friday March 14, 2025 for inclusion on the addendum.
