Notice of Special Council Meeting to be held Monday December 2, 2024

Please take notice that the Corporation of the Township of Scugog will hold a Special Council meeting on Monday, December 2, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. pursuant to Section 240 of the Municipal Act, 2001. The meeting will take place in Council Chambers located at 181 Perry Street, Port Perry.

The following matters will be considered at the meeting:

·       One (1) Report regarding the Lake Scugog Enhancement Project (LSEP)

Financial Status Update

·       One (1) Set of Minutes and Report received from the Healthy Lake Scugog

Advisory Committee Meeting - November 6, 2024

·       One piece of Correspondence received from the Scugog Lake Stewards regarding Lake Scugog Enhancement Project – Risk Assessment Review Proposal – November 14, 2024

The agenda will be published and available for the public to view as of Thursday, November 27, 2024 at 8:30 a.m.

The public also can submit delegation requests for the Special Council meeting to be included in an addendum to be issued on Friday, November 29, 2024. Please note, those who have already spoken to the matter must be providing Council with new information. Requests must be submitted no later than 2:00 p.m. on Friday November 29, 2024, for inclusion on the addendum. 

Further, the Council Chambers located at 181 Perry Street has a fire code occupancy of 100. Rules of decorum and meeting etiquette must be followed. Doors will open at 4:45 p.m. This meeting will be livestreamed and available at Scugog.ca/council.
