Notice of Special Council Meeting on Monday, January 13, 2025

Please take notice that the Corporation of the Township of Scugog will hold a Special Council meeting on Monday, January 13, 2025, at 6:30 p.m. pursuant to Section 240 of the Municipal Act, 2001. The meeting will be held predominantly in Closed Session and take place in Council Chambers located at 181 Perry Street, Port Perry.

The following matters will be considered at the meeting:
•    One (1) Confidential Report to discuss litigation or potential litigation, including matters before administrative tribunals, affecting the municipality or local board, pursuant to Section 239(2)(e) of the Municipal Act, 2001; and to discuss advice that is subject to solicitor-client privilege, including communications necessary for that purpose, pursuant to Section 239(2)(f) of the Municipal Act, 2001, with respect to Greenbank Airport Litigation Update.

•    One (1) Confidential Report to discuss personal matters about an identifiable individual, including municipal employees pursuant to Section 239(2)(b) of the Municipal Act. 2001, with respect to Staffing and Personnel Issue.
The agenda will be published and available for the public to view as of Thursday, January 9, 2024 at 8:30 a.m.
