Notice of Special Council Meeting to be held Thursday, July 11, 2024

Please take notice that the Corporation of the Township of Scugog will hold a Special Council meeting on Thursday, July 11, 2024, at 4:00 PM pursuant to Section 240 of the Municipal Act, 2001. The Special meeting of Council will take place in Council Chambers located at 181 Perry Street, Port Perry. 

The following matters will be considered:

• One (1) Confidential Presentation / Report to discuss litigation or potential litigation, including matters before administrative tribunals, affecting the municipality or local board; and the receive advice that is subject to solicitor-client privilege, including communications necessary for that purpose; with respect to the Greenbank Airport

* This item will be handled in closed session pursuant to Section 239(2)(e) and (f) of the Municipal Act, 2001.

• One (1) Confidential Staff Report on a proposed or pending acquisition of disposition of land by the Municipality or Local Board

* This item will be handled in closed session pursuant to Section 239(2)(c) of the Municipal Act, 2001.

• One (1) Confidential Matter regarding the appointment of an acting CAO

*This item will be handled in closed session as per Section 239(2)(b) of the Municipal Act, 2001.
