Notice of Upcoming Special Council Meetings in October and Date Change to the October General Purpose and Administration Meeting
Please take notice that the Corporation of the Township of Scugog will hold a series of Special Council meetings in the month of October pursuant to Section 240 of the Municipal Act, 2001, to consider the applications of candidates for the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) vacancy.
These meetings will not be livestreamed or open to the public.
Special Council Meeting #1:
Tuesday, October 1, 2024 at 9:30 a.m. in Council Chambers located at 181 Perry Street, Port Perry.
Agenda available online by Friday, September 27 at 4:30 p.m.
Special Council Meeting #2:
Monday, October 7, 2024 at 9:30 a.m., in Council Chambers located at 181 Perry Street, Port Perry.
Agenda available online by Friday, October 4 at 4:30 p.m.
Special Council Meeting #3:
Wednesday, October 16, 2024 at 9:00 a.m., location to be determined.
Agenda available online by Monday, October 14 at 4:30 p.m.
Further, in order to accommodate the above schedule of Special Council Meetings, the previously scheduled General Purpose and Administration (GPA) meeting, scheduled for Monday, October 7, 2024 will now be held on Tuesday, October 8, 2024 at 1:30 p.m., in Council Chambers located at 181 Perry Street, Port Perry. This meeting will be open to the public.
