Notification of Temporary Road Closure - 234 Union Avenue

Please be advised that Hard-Co Construction Ltd. will be installing a new sanitary and storm sewer on Union Avenue to provide sewer infrastructure to a future subdivision on the southwest corner of Union Avenue and Forestlane Way. To complete this work, it will be necessary to close Union Avenue from north of Josephine Street to Robin Trail. Local resident driveway access will remain available during the road closure.

The temporary road closure on Union Avenue will be in place from November 20 to December 21, 2023. As the work will be weather dependent, this schedule could vary.

Please refer to the area map for the road closure and detour details.

It is recognized that the work will be disruptive, and we apologize for any inconvenience caused by this construction.

FAQs regarding this closure:

1. Residents will still have access to mail delivery.
2. Residents will still have access to garbage, compost and recycling pick up.
3. The closure is expected until December 21 but the work is weather dependent.
4. The work is required to preserve the trees on the west side of Union Avenue while sanitary and water services are being installed.
