Museum Donations
The Scugog Shores Museum Village and Archive (SSMVA) collects artifacts and archival materials that illustrate and promote the history of the Municipality and the Lake Scugog area.
The SSMVA relies on the generosity of the public to grow its archival and artifact collection through donations. Potential artifact donations must meet specific criteria before being accepted to the SSMVA Collection.
Please make an appointment with the Curator and we would be pleased to discuss any potential donations. Artifact donations are permanent and once approved, SSMVA assumes the responsibility to store, preserve, conserve, and exhibit the artifact, as it meets the needs, mandate, and policies of the museum.
