Your commitment to the community helps to keep our parks clean, safe, and beautiful. After the second successful cleanup of your adopted park, the Township of Scugog will acknowledge your commitment with an official Adopt-a-Park sign.
Adopt a Park
The Township of Scugog has a public service program called Adopt-a-Park. This program contracts volunteer groups to collect garbage and debris from a designated park area on a regular basis. Volunteer with your family, neighbour, friends, community group, or business to help protect and improve our parks.
Learn more from our Adopt-A-Park brochure.
To adopt a park, contact recreation@scugog.ca with your Volunteer Group Pledge Form. The Township considers your safety when making decisions about the Adopt-a-Park program. Our Adopt-a-Park Safety Guidelines help keep our volunteers safe.
