The Township of Scugog offers ice programs for all ages. View our skating program schedules for the Scugog Community Recreation Centre and Blackstock Recreation Complex in the Leisure and Activity Guide. All skate programs are drop-in and no longer require pre-registration. You can purchase a 10-ticket or 20-ticket pass online for skate programs.

Free Outdoor Skating

The Township of Scugog offers options for FREE outdoor skating in downtown Port Perry!

The Lakefront Skating Rink, located in Joe Fowler North Diamond, offers on-land skating from 10am to 10pm every day. This rink is maintained in the morning by Township staff and self-regulated by users throughout the day. Information about the rink including Rules and Regulations can be found on our Lakefront Skate and Market page.

There is also an Ice Oval (currently closed until further notice) and multiple rinks on Lake Scugog near the Port Perry Pier, maintained by the Port Perry Marina. We encourage users to be mindful of ice thickness when using the rinks.
